EU Project COMPACT LIGHT

Compact Light's aim to realize the feasibility of a innovative, compact and cost effective FEL facility. This project is funded by the European Commission's Horizon 2020 programme; it involves 21 leading European institutions, including Elettra (coordinating institution), CERN,PSI. KIT and INFN-LNF, in addition to seven universities and two industry partners (Kyma and VDL) which periodically gather to achieve this ambitious goal by the year 2020.

 

The first Midterm Review Meeting of CompactLight was held on 19-20  June 2018 in Trieste, Italy.                       The Meeting was dedicated to a review of the work conducted during the first six project months and the preparation of work plans for the next six months.
